Doing good together
To advance important causes, increase our impact, engage our members, and work with communities to address their needs, Rotary International collaborates with organizations that support our areas of focus and service commitments. Through these global collaborations, Rotary members have access to each organization’s expertise, resources, and reach to conduct meaningful service projects that have a positive, lasting impact in communities near and far.

Within 72 hours of a 7.8-magntitude earthquake striking Turkey and Syria, ShelterBox — an international aid organization and our project partner — had an emergency response team on the ground.
The team connected with Rotary and Rotaract members to provide tents, blankets, mattresses, and solar lights to 2,000 families in several provinces. Rotary members introduced the ShelterBox response team to local manufacturers and suppliers, identified communities with the most unmet needs, facilitated introductions with municipal leaders, and provided important translation services. Together, Rotary and ShelterBox are a powerful partnership for positive change.
