 Public Image Grants

W e have changed the name of Public Relations (PR) grants to Public Image (PI) grants to highlight our focus on placement of public service announcements that increase understanding of Rotary's mission in the general public.

Over the last three years, Rotary International has awarded US$10 million in PR grants worldwide and received more than $35 million in complementary in-kind public relations and advertising space, indicating a strong return on Rotary’s investment.

The grants enable districts to place television, radio, print, outdoor billboard, and web public service announcements in their local communities. Grants should use Humanity in Motion or This Close materials, contain a local website or phone number, have a plan for measurement, and be directed at the public. Grants are awarded on a competitive basis.

Reimbursement information

The Public Image Grants program is a reimbursement program. When a grant application is approved, the district is responsible for implementing the project and paying the vendors. Districts can then submit a reimbursement form. Forms will be available soon.
