T he International Assembly in San Diego, California, USA, gives incoming district leaders valuable information and an opportunity to build friendships that prepare them for the challenges of the upcoming Rotary year -- from eradicating polio to the successful launch of the new grant model, also known as Future Vision, in July.

At this year's assembly, RI President-elect Ron Burton announced the 2013-14 RI theme, Engage Rotary, Change Lives.
