Rotary is a global network of 1.2 million men and women committed to helping people in need all over the world – and form strong, lasting friendships in the process. Our top goal is to end polio forever.

Rotary has been leading the way in the fight against polio since launching the international effort in 1985. Since then, we have helped immunize more than 2.5 billion children and helped 122 countries become polio-free. With only three polio-endemic countries remaining, we are this close to eradicating polio.
