E ach district must set its own deadline for clubs to submit applications to its selection committee. District-endorsed Rotary Peace and Conflict Studies Program applications are due to The Rotary Foundation according to the deadlines, posted on this Web site, usually at least six weeks before each selection meeting. The following timeline is recommended for promoting the program and selecting candidates.

July-September Session Applicants Activities January-April Session Applicants
July-August Districts and clubs promote the program to attract well-qualified candidates. January-February
September–October Clubs conduct the interview and selection process and submit their club-endorsed applications to the district in accordance with the district deadline. March-April
November–December Districts conduct the interview and selection process for their program candidates. Each district submits qualified candidate applications to RI World Headquarters to arrive six weeks before the selection meeting. May-June
February The Rotary Foundation’s Rotary Peace and Conflict Studies Selection Committee reviews applications and selects applicants for the program and fellowships. Districts and their candidates will be notified of the results of the world-level competitive selection process. August
