Throughout his year as Rotary International president, Wilfrid J. Wilkinson has convened forums in multiple countries to emphasize one of Rotary’s ultimate goals: world peace. At his last major summit on 25-27 April in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, Wilkinson joined noted environmentalist Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and renowned international peacemakers to tell thousands that peace is possible.

Rotary International in Great Britain and Ireland is a unique organization within the family of Rotary. The story behind it goes back to May 1914 and the concept of territorial units. For the first time, you can select a People's Choice Award winner for The Rotarian's annual photo contest. The contest was open to Rotarians and family of Rotary members. And now's the time to start thinking about next year's contest, which will run from 1 January to 1 March.
