RI receives multiple honors for its publications

Association Media & Publishing honored Rotary International with 12 EXCEL awards, which recognize association publishers for innovative and inspiring work. The award program judges nearly 1,000 association publications, including magazines, newsletters, scholarly journals, electronic publications, and websites in the areas of editorial quality, design, general excellence, most improved, and many more.
The Rotarian
magazine won seven awards, including a gold award for general excellence for the August, September, and October 2010 issues. Other honors included a gold award for the cover illustration of the April 2010 issue; a gold award for the magazine's media kit; a silver award for "On the Money," an April 2010 management column; a bronze award for design excellence for the September and October 2010 issues; a bronze award for The Rotarian's Greater Goods Catalog , a brochure originally published in the December 2010 issue; and a bronze award for the feature "How many fifth graders know someone on meth?" in the August 2010 issue.
