The Rotary Centers Major Gift Initiative seeks to create a $95 million endowment fund by 2015 to sustain the Rotary Centers for International Studies in peace and conflict resolution.

The funding initiative strives to raise US$90,000,000 in endowed support for 120 Rotary World Peace Fellowships and $5,000,000 for one-time fellowships to help provide more immediate support.

In 2005, the Trustees of The Rotary Foundation recognized that additional financial resources were required to sustain the Rotary Centers for International Studies in peace and conflict resolution. The Board voted to establish a global fundraising effort to raise the capital to meet the needs of this unique program.

Though there is still much to be done, significant strides have been made. To date, Rotary has received more than US$27 million from individual Rotarians and Rotary friends around the globe.
