HI EVERYONE! I see there are a lot of comments here that are questions, but no answers. I am currently a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar, living in Wales. Most of the questions you are asking need to be directed to your specific clubs - ie: how to apply etc. Search for your local club and contact them. If there is no club, find a nearby one and contact them. I will personally be following up with this discussion board and see if I can make some improvements for this part of the website. Thanks Claire

To all that are requesting informaiton on the Ambassadorial Scholarship, please look through the Rotary's website to find all the information you need. I was the 2005-2006 Am Scholar for district 5960. I too went through similar problems, however, the process is quite easy after you find it on their website, http://www.rotary.org/en/StudentsAndYouth/EducationalPrograms/AmbassadorialScholarships/Pages/Howtoapply.aspx You CANNOT be a member of the Rotary, and neither can any immediate family member. Go to the nearest local rotary club meeting and ask questions, they would love to help you. If they have selected a canidate, go to another club. They will help you through the process as well. Each club can select an individual for the scholarship. DON'T waste time, go today!!!

Dear Sirs, I am 28 years old and have just completed my Post Graduate Certificate in Education (Science - Chemistry) and embarking on my induction year in September in Surrey, England. I had a meeting with Dr Davis from Reading University yesterday who told me to get in touch with Rotary about the Ambassadorial Scholars scheme. After this mandatory NQT year (which completes my teacher training here), I would like to further my studies to Masters level to better my professional standards as a teacher of Science and gain a wider perspective of teaching. After finding out about your Ambassadorial Scholars, I would very much like to be involved. Yours, Mr David Marsh
