At 9:26AM on 28 August 2008, PDG Ruben G. Henson, M.D. Philippineswrote: Dear President D.K. Lee, Greetings from Angeles City, Philippines! Your last visit here last year in District 3790 at Oxford Hotel in Clark, Pampanga has inspired your countryman, our Past President Joshua Cho, so much that he agreed to be our President of our Club again for RY 2008-2009. I am glad to share with you his enthusiasm and hard work. His goal for this year is to make all of our members Paul Harris Fellows…a tall order..., and he may just succeed! He involved the club in “THE 100 MILLION DOLLAR CHALLENGE” and as his initial project he gave each member a Can with “END POLIO NOW!” pasted around it. These cans are just reminders for the members to raise $500 on or before December. Hopefully, by early 2009, all the members of the Rotary Club of Clark Field would be able to raise $1,000 each to become Paul Harris Fellows. Pres. Joshua also organized a 100 Million Dollar Challenge Golf Tournament on October 29, 2008, a joint project of Asiana Airlines and the Rotary Club of Clark Field. Prizes to be awarded are a free trip to USA and Seoul, Korea respectively. Kudos to Pres. Joshua for making this possible. Your in Rotary service, PDG Ruben “Ben” Henson. M.D. District 3790

At 8:41AM on 3 July 2008, Simone S Lopes USAwrote: Esteemed President Lee, I am but a humble Rotarian of now 8 years with Phoenix Rotary 100 and took it upon my personal mission to give our club a new and refreshing website look under a gret friend and past President, Richard Eisenach. Since then, I have with great honor tried to update, refresh, add and so on. What Rotary does, locally, nationally and internationally simply humbles me, yet I continue to find ways to remain a member and donate for our club and indirectly our international club. It is most comforting to have read your mission, your goals, for as so many have already expressed, if we could take better care of any nation's immesurable and irreplaceable assets, our children, then we will make a difference in the long term, towards more peaceful planet with a bit more equilibrium in our very much complexed geo-political-econmical and religious world of ours! Anyway, I thought I could share with you what I have on my very own website where I try to encourage women of all ages to make that difference, to make their dreams real..a very powerful video entitled Vison, Passion and Purpose, compliments of Sitel. Everyday I watch it to inspire me in th emost Rotarian ways of life. Finally, I would like to send you my congratulations and wish you the greatest of successes in making all of the dreams for this coming year a reality! I have added a direct link to your message and video, and will encourage our own Rotarians to visit and listen! Most Humbly yours, Simone Sequeira Lopes
