Communications Committee

Strategic Planning Committee
This committee, mandated by the RI Bylaws, shall develop, recommend, and update a strategic plan for consideration by the Board; survey Rotarians and clubs not less than every three years in discharge of its duties to review and make recommendations to the Board pertaining to the strategic plan; review and counsel the President-elect on the program for the upcoming year to determine whether such program is consistent with the strategic plan; and undertake other duties assigned by the Board. It shall take into account studies of the change in the number of potential Rotarians on each continent, including in countries that may open soon to expansion, in order to predict the impact of such change on the membership in each zone.

They also are to be available for assistance at Rotary institutes, governors-elect training seminars, and other zone-level meetings.

Rotary Public Image Coordinators
Rotary public image coordinators shall provide enhanced information and assistance from RI to the clubs and districts in the area of public relations. They will assist clubs and districts in telling Rotary’s success stories to all media, local government leaders, communities, civic leaders, and similar entities. They are to serve as trainers, motivators, coaches, counselors, and resource persons for the club and district leaders in their assigned regions. They also are to be available for assistance at Rotary institutes, governors-elect training seminars, and other zone-level meetings.

Regional Rotary Foundation Coordinators
Regional Rotary Foundation coordinators support district governors and governors-nominee in selecting Rotary Foundation committees and establishing and accomplishing district Foundation goals. They are selected by the Foundation Trustees in consultation with the RI president and president-elect. They conduct regional Rotary Foundation seminars, provide specialized training at zone-level governors-elect training seminars, and support district governors in planning district Rotary Foundation seminars. They also serve as Foundation speakers for district conferences, presidents-elect training seminars, district assemblies, and other Foundation-related events.
