Manager, RI Europe Africa Office
Marco Nicosia
Marco became manager of the RI Europe/Africa Office in Zurich in 2010. Previously its information technology manager, he gained a thorough understanding of the office’s operations through earlier management of its club and district support, finance, Rotary Foundation, and support services activities. He joined the Europe/Africa office in 1996.
A Swiss-Italian, Marco formerly worked as an information technology manager at Danzas, an international forwarding agency, where he was responsible for its offices in Switzerland and Austria. His native language is German, and he is fluent in English, Spanish, Italian, and French.
Marco has nationally certified degrees in business and economics and an apprentice master’s degree, and has completed additional studies in information technology. He is a charter member of the Rotary Club of Zürich-Zürichberg and a Paul Harris Fellow.
Manager, RI South Asia Office
Vinod K. Bhola
Vinod has served as manager of the RI South Asia Office in New Delhi since 1995. Previously, he was a brigadier in the Indian Army.
Vinod began his military career at the National Defense Academy in 1961. He served as deputy military secretary to the president of India, head of the management faculty at the Army Training Institute of the Army War College, and deputy president of the Services Selection Board. He is a graduate of the Defense Services Staff College and an alumnus of the College of Defense Management.
Vinod earned a master’s degree in science from Madras University and a postgraduate diploma in marketing management from the YMCA Institute of Management. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Delhi Garden City and a Paul Harris Fellow.
Manager, RI Japan Office
Hiroaki "Hiro" Kobayashi Hiro has more than 30 years of hospitality experience. He has served in various industry-related positions, including as president of OHEA (Overseas Hotel Executive Association), vice president of North Asia for SKAL International Asia, and the immediate past president of SKAL International Tokyo.
He is also a former board member of OTOA (Overseas Tour Operators Association).
He’s a graduate of Sophia University in Tokyo with a degree in English. In addition, Hiro's a Paul Harris Fellow.
Manager, RI Korea Office
Chang Kyu Kim
Chang has extensive experience in managing the offices of the RI Secretariat. After joining the RI staff in 1978, he supervised the Southeast Asia section of Membership Services before becoming manager of the Korea Branch Office in Seoul in 1987. In 1990, he was named manager of the Asia and Pacific Department, which, under the Secretariat’s structure at that time, included RI branch offices in Delhi, Manila, Seoul, Sydney, and Tokyo. In 1997, he became manager of the Membership Services Division in Evanston, which then included the international offices as well as Club and District Support and Membership Development. In 1998, he returned to Seoul to become manager of the RI Korea Office.
Chang has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Yonsei University in Seoul, a master’s degree in journalism from Seoul National University, and a master’s degree in business administration from Western Illinois University in the United States. He is a member and past president of the Rotary Club of Seoul Yongdungpo, a Paul Harris Fellow, and a member of the Paul Harris Society.
Manager, RI South Pacific and Philippines Office
Frank Pezzimenti
Frank has served as manager of the RI South Pacific and Philippines Office in Parramatta, New South Wales, Australia, since 2007.
A citizen of both Australia and Italy, Frank has worked in several countries, including India, Indonesia, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, and Thailand. He has 14 years’ experience as a senior financial executive, including chief operating officer for the Asia Pacific region for a UK communications company based in Bangkok and chief financial officer of a mobile software/hardware company in Sydney. He has also worked in financial and management accounting, financial analysis, and commercial consultancy and has extensive experience working with telecommunications, information technology, financial services, and nongovernmental organizations.
Frank has a degree in accounting and a master’s in commerce with submajors in legal studies, tax, and finance. He is a fellow of the Australian CPAs.
Frank is a member of the Rotary Club of Padstow and a Paul Harris Fellow.
Manager, RI Brazil Office
Celso Fontanelli
Celso has worked for Rotary International since 1993. Before joining Rotary, he worked in procurement, finance/banking, and cost accounting. He received his English-language certification from Cambridge University.
Celso has a master’s degree in business administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas, completed postgraduate studies in general management, and has pursued additional studies in administration, accounting, and human resources.
A member of the Rotary Club of São Paulo-Barra Funda, Celso has served as president and in all other club officer positions. He is a Paul Harris Fellow.
Manager, RI Southern South America Office
Andrés Gregg
Andrés has served as manager of the RI Southern South America Office in Buenos Aires, Argentina, since 2001. Before joining the office staff in 1992, he worked in the export business and for the Buenos Aires Herald .
Andrés has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of West London and a postgraduate degree in management of not-for-profit organizations from San Andrés University in Argentina. He is a member of AEDROS, an association of fundraising professionals based in Buenos Aires.
A member of the Rotary Club of Libertador-Recoleta, Andrés has helped implement a number of community-based projects. He is a Paul Harris Fellow.
